ForKidS – Forum of young Kid’s Surgeons Switzerland: We represent the young paediatric surgeons up to the level of young FMH specialist within the swiss society of paediatric surgeons, and to other organisations like the Swiss Society of Surgeons.

We want to help young paediatric surgeons in their pursuit of a career in paediatric surgery.

At the annual congress of the swiss society of paediatric surgeons we organise events focused on the interests of young paediatric surgeons.

Welcome to the ForKids Mentorship program.

Research has shown the immense value of mentorship for professional and personal development of surgeons. There is demonstrated value in networking, career advancement, research collaboration, acquisition of clinical and non-clinical skills.

Mentors can help bridge the gap between what is taught and the current demands of the specialty. Mentorship creates opportunities for dialogue, guidance, sharing of experiences across institutions and career stages.

We are please to launch the second edition of the ForKids Mentorship Program.

Whether you are an accomplished surgeon wishing to support the next generation or a trainee/early-career surgeon seeking guidance, this programs offers a framework to build valuable professional relationships.

Through our platform, participants can create a profile, match preferred mentors or mentees and define shared objectives. Previous participants are warmly encouraged to continue their involvement.
